Concurrent with the 2025 Spanish Open Friedrich Championship this 23-25 of May 2025 at the Club Dragón in Madrid, the organization of the 8th Bellota Con is pleased to announce the celebration of up to 4 simultaneous tables with up to 16 participants of this game recreating the Seven Years War in Central Europe.
Friedrich is a game defined by its simple rules, yet providing a really deep decision level and many posibilities for every player to develop his own strategy without having to worry excesively about memorization and calculations.
The game Friedrich was published over 20 years ago and keeps a great following, whose enthusiasm is reinforced by the aforementioned Spanish Tournament, as well as the UK Tournament at York and the yearly World Championship at Berlin.
For this occasion, the event will be hosted by Jose Luis Bonilla, organizer of the Spanish Championship and 2022 World Champion, who will be available to explain the game rules and provide some strategy tips. And there is more! For this event Bellota Con has made a special edition of the game with a 135cm X 90cm extra large map wich will be used at one of the 4 games.
