In the last Berlin championship from September 6 to 8, 2019, two announcements of upcoming championships took place. On the one hand the Berlin Champion John McCullough announced the celebration of the English championship in York for May or June 2020. So once again the veteran Friedrich players from the Club Dragón are back from the World Championships in Berlin, where they did well enough, if not completely covering themselves in glory. We each won at least one game: Alberto received the Faire Ehrensvärd in recognition of his gentlemanly behaviour; I got to the final for the second year running only

During the celebration of the BellotaCon’19 in Badajoz (Sp) a series of games by Friedrich have been held. The aim of these games has been to introduce people to the game and teach strategies to improve the techniques of the participants in preparation for the next Friedrich championship in Madrid in June of this year.
